Lobstermen
Lobstermen of Little Cranberry Island
This personal project by Tadd Myers is an award-winning booklet featuring the story of the Lobstermen of Little Cranberry Island, Maine. This visual story details the Cranberry Isles Fishermen’s co-op. Established in 1978, it’s comprised of 28 fishermen and one fisherwoman. Tadd and his crew spent a week onboard several boats off the coast of Maine documenting the day-to-day lobster operations, capturing both the grit and calmness of life on the water. Highlighting the responsible fishing practices of the co-op, Tadd wanted to produce a sustainably sourced piece of art. This 28-page booklet was designed by the RBMM Agency graphic design agency and printed by Vermont-based Villanti Printers on environmentally friendly Monadnock Paper with help from Clampitt Paper in Dallas.
